Participants will learn about the challenges and benefits of establishing a three year suburban and urban school partnership. They will be introduced to the Maryland Youth Partners in Change middle school program which brings together 32 students from the Glenelg Country School in Howard County and the Booker T. Washington School for the Arts in Baltimore City. Application procedure, curriculum and assessment measures will be discussed along with lessons learned.
